WARRANTY

WARRANTY

  • The warranty is original owner only for 24 months.

 

  • The warranty covers any defects in workmanship and materials, but this is considered to be extremely unlikely with such high-end blank and components utilised.

 

  • CTS suggest that if your rod blank has been fished successfully on its first couple of outings, then it’s good to go for many years. Any future breakages are unlikely to be a manufacturing fault.

 

  • If you order one of our handmade fly rods and are not delighted with it, we'll refund your purchase in full. You may do so within 10 days of receiving the goods.   Returns shipped outside of this period will not be accepted.  The rod must be unmarked and unused.

 

  • The warranty is limited to repair and replacement of the rod or section and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. It does not cover fire, theft, missing sections, accidents and/or damage related to over loading, external damage that eventually causes a failure, misuse, intentional breakage or modification.

BROKEN SECTION(S)

  • If you break a section by mistake, please return the broken section along with all component guides.  We will supply a replacement section, utilising the guides from the broken section. 

  • Replacement upper sections cost NZD $185 + shipping. A replacement butt section costs NZD $485 + shipping.  Please return any broken section(s) so we can remove the guides and reinstall on the new section.  Without these, extra cost will be incurred for new guides.

  • Owners are responsible for shipping/insurance costs for returning of the rod (duties/taxes for international).​

  • If you are unable to return the original section, please email KiwiNymphNZ for a quote for replacement components.

  • A damaged rod or section should be placed in its rod tube prior to shipment.  A properly packed standard cardboard protective tube is the best method of shipment to protect it from further damage. We highly recommend that you insure and track all shipments.
